Circular Economy Construction Retrofit Training Programme

The Circular Economy Construction Retrofit Training programme aims to enable Scotland’s workforce to meet industry and government targets for energy efficiency and saving whilst ensuring sustainable retrofit skills, practices and circular economy principles are in place.

In 2020, training sessions and workshops were aimed at encouraging participants to embed circular and net-zero principles within their training already being offered. The next phase of the programme will look to consult and listen to a wide range of stakeholders to identify the current and future needs to truly embed a circular approach with the construction sector.

The next phase of the Circular Economy Construction Retrofit Training programme will refresh and update the previously delivered training and workshops, with the key legislative and regulatory updates and also focus on the vast commercial opportunities for the training sector.

We are calling for both previous recipients of the training, and new participants alike.  If you are an educator, delivering training and skills in the Built Environment sector, we want to hear from you.

Consultation will run until the 10th of March 2023, and consists of a short consultative survey and optional video call.
